I graduated with an MA in Music from St. Catharine's College, Cambridge, in 2010. I hold the DipABRSM in piano performance with Distinction and studied the piano with Graham Fitch.
I am a sensitive and expressive accompanist, with particularly strong sight-reading skills and a knack for 'mind-reading' when working with soloists. I am a versatile musician, comfortable performing music from a wide range of styles and eras.
I have been engaged as an accompanist or repetiteur by many leading musical organisations, including Garsington Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, Royal Opera House Youth Company, Mahogany Opera Group, Opera Holland Park and Spitalfields Music.
I am an experienced duo partner and recital accompanist. I work regularly with oboist Nicola Hands, with whom I have performed venues across London and the South-East. Our ensemble is featured in the 2018 Making Music Selected Artists guide and is a 2018 Concordia Foundation ensemble. I am comfortable working and performing with all instrumentalists and voice types, and am a friendly and supportive ally in auditions and examinations.
I am a popular choice of accompanist for choirs and choral societies, just as at home with pop, jazz, musical theatre and lighter music as I am with the classical choral repertoire. I am an excellent score-reader and improviser, and work well with conductors and animateurs.
