Joseph began studying the piano aged 4 and achieved a distinction at ABRSM Grade 8 by the age of 17. In 2007 he was awarded an organ scholarship at Somerville College, Oxford with a place to read music. Whilst at the univeristy, Joseph specialised in piano performance, studying with the concert pianist Charlotte Tomlinson, and graduated in 2010 with a BA in Music . During his 3 years as organ scholar at Somerville College, he performed with the college choir in venues across the UK including Worcester Cathedral. He also toured with the choir to Germany performing in Berlin and Brandenburg Cathedrals and Berlin's Gedachtniskirche. During his time at Oxford, Joseph was also an occasional organist at The Oxford Oratory, Blackfriars Priory, St Gregory and Augustine, Holy Rood, and Holy Trinity (Witney), demonstrating his versatility and experience as an organist. However, Joseph also gained an enormous amount of experience as a piano accompanist, providing accompaniment for vocalists and instrumentalists in concerts within the college and throughout the city. He has recently been appointed as organist at Wycombe Abbey School.
