Joshua Daulo is active as soloist, accompanist, and teacher in Toronto, ON, Canada. He has performed regular recitals at the Steinway Piano Gallery – Toronto and is active in the pianist group OpenScore at the University of Toronto. He has also performed in ensembles of different sizes and instrumentations. He has participated in masterclasses conducted by Duo Turgeon and Emanuel Ax. As accompanist, he has served as assistant pianist at the Immaculate Conception Church in Vaughan, ON, Canada, and for close friends during a night of Broadway music at home. His small studio consisted of piano and music theory students, who then garnered top marks in examinations conducted by the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM – Toronto).
After his undergraduate degree in engineering, Joshua pursued his ARCT from RCM – Toronto while working for an engineering consulting firm. He has also obtained his Masters in Performance Science at the Royal College of Music – London. Before leaving for London, Joshua was under the tutelage of George McElroy, with past instruction from Karen Asaro, George Thurgood, Tony Chong, Grace Lin, and Reginald Miller.
