An experienced pianist, organist, and accompanist in many genres, ranging from art song to gospel music, jazz, musical theater, pop, sacred music, and avant-garde works, I have worked with individual artists, chamber groups, and choirs, and as a soloist and music director at weddings, funerals, and community events. Currently Guest Lecturer in Accompanying at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, Music Ministry Assistant at the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, and collaborative pianist for the Downers Grove Choral Society, along with freelance accompanying (including experience playing for NATS, S&E festivals, and collegiate recitalists) and teaching.
I received my B.M. magna cum laude from the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, where I developed a broad and varied repertoire and perfected my technique and sight-reading skills, distinguishing myself as a reliable and competent performer. As a choral musician, I have accompanied under the baton of distinguished conductors from across the U.S. and served as the honors conductor of the Wheaton College Concert Choir.
I look forward to the challenge and joy of working with any fellow musician committed to artistry, and am committed to playing for you with detail, stylistic awareness, and heart.
