I hold a bachelor's degree in piano performance from the University of Mary Washington. There, I studied under Drs. Lynne Mackey and Martha Fickett. I also practice as a board-certified music therapist, with a graduate certificate in music therapy from Shenandoah University, and am pursuing my Master's of Music Therapy with an anticipated graduation date of December 2023. I am certified to teach general K-12 music in the state of Virginia and hold an active, renewable teacher licensure.

I have over 20 years of experience accompanying singers, instrumentalists, small ensembles, church choirs, and musical theatre. I love the work of accompanying, especially the aspect of collaboration!

I price my rates so as to be affordable to students. I know that pursuing music can involve many costs.
