I hold a master's degree in music therapy from Shenandoah University, as well as a graduate certificate also in Music Therapy also from Shenandoah University. My bachelor's degree is in piano performance from the University of Mary Washington. There, I studied under Drs. Lynne Mackey and Martha Fickett. In my years at school, I accompanied vocalists and instrumentalists for recitals and juries. I also practice as a board-certified music therapist. I am currently teaching K-8 general music at a local school, and hold an active, renewable teacher licensure.
I have over 20 years of experience accompanying singers, instrumentalists, small ensembles, church choirs, and musical theatre. I love the work of accompanying, especially the aspect of collaboration!

I price my rates so as to be affordable to students. I know that pursuing music can involve many costs.
