Originally studied piano accompaniment with Paul Hamburger and accompanied choirs throughout Europe for Laszlo Heltay, Brian Kay and many others. Experienced with French mélodies and German Lieder and standard operatic repertoire, plus much of the 18th, 19th and 20th-century strings/wind with piano repertoire. Excellent sightreading and score reading. Versatile musician - also harpsichord, keyboards and especially pipe organ (widely experienced church musican) - at home with Stockhausen and Lloyd Webber and much else! Regularly requested by local teachers for exam and competition accompaniment.
