Kevin Lynch is attending Berklee College of Music for his M.A. in Interdisciplinary Music Studies and graduated cum laude with a B.M. in Music Education with a concentration in classical piano and voice from William Paterson University of New Jersey. He maintains a New Jersey Standard Teaching Certification for grades K-12 and won the Outstanding Musician Award, Legacy Scholar Award for his academic and musical achievements at William Paterson University.

Kevin is the owner and CEO of Kevin Lynch Music Services, LLC, an international business providing professional & quality music services, sheet music preparation, transcribing, manuscript editing, arranging, orchestrating, composition, backing tracks, and audio mixing.

Kevin held the title of staff accompanist at The Juilliard School in New York, NY. There he voice coached and prepared dance students for professional Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regional theatre and collegiate auditions. He served as choral director and music teacher at Montville Township High School and developed curricula for the high school choral and music programs, theatre arts courses, music theory and advanced music theory courses and took on several roles as a supervisor and co-creator of the high school’s Gay-Straight Alliance and co-supervised the Drama Club.

He’s the music director for the Centenary Stage Company and an adjunct professor of music at Centenary University in Hackettstown, New Jersey. There, he teaches and conducts the musicals for the equity and university student shows. In addition, he has taught and developed music courses in voice, choral singing, music theory, audition preparation, and the history of musical theatre for the Young Performers Workshop at Centenary University.

Kevin has music directed, performed, accompanied and coached a variety of ensembles, soloists and performers for many venues throughout New York, New Jersey and Florida. He’s had the privilege to work with Darren Criss (from Glee) and Kristin Chenoweth (original “Glinda” in Wicked). He’s worked as music director and conductor at the Mayo Performing Arts Center, piano accompanist for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and continues to perform with several other New Jersey and New York venues and theatres including Old Library Theatre, Plays In The Park, and Stageworks Theatre. He served as music director, pianist, transcriber and orchestrator for Savage the Musical in the 2019 NYMF, and is the orchestrator for Boundless the Musical.

He’s a member of the AFM Local 802, the Dramatists Guild of America, ASCAP, SCL, and ASMAC. He has released an original EP album titled It., a full-length symphonic album of original works based on the story of A Christmas Carol, and several singles available online. He’s a 2014 NJACT Perry Award Winner for Outstanding Music Direction for New Vision Players’ production of Les Misérables and for Best Music Direction of Chicago by the NJ Metro Awards. His one-act play NEXT premiered in New York City in July 2019. He played the role of “Eddie” in the comedy short film Awakening Arlene (2019) and won Best Original Score for the short film Hard Feelings (2022) by the NJ Film Awards. He is developing and creating new original musicals and intends to encourage and inspire others through the work he produces.
