Additional Info:
My name is Kevin Roland and I am a professional pianist and accompanist based in Washington, DC. I am 37 years young and have been playing professionally for over 15 years and I have a wide repertoire of music that includes music from most decades starting from 1930 to today. My style tends to be more jazzy standards and pop/broadway but was trained classically. I have accompanied and musical directed dozens of productions and played for hundreds of singers and instrumentalists for recitals, juries, auditions, and recordings.
I have played up and down the East Coast of the US for many events including the White House, the Vice President's house, restaurants, hotels, bars, weddings, country clubs, and even outdoors. I have played for 2 sitting presidents as well as for the Governor's of both MD and VA and have an extensive list of recommendations and references available at your request.
Currently, I am the owner of DCPiano and Music which is an in-home music lesson company but was most recently the musical director for Mimi's American Bistro in DC for 8 years, which was the District's only restaurant with a nightly cabaret and singing servers for which I accompanied all the singers and arranged all the music.
I also have mp3 samples of my playing and do not mind traveling for events if necessary. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or bookings. Thank you.
