I am an alumnus of the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, UK, with a Master of Music in Performance (MMus) with Distinction. Upon graduating, I was also admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Schools of Music (FRSM) with Distinction.During my studies, I gained valuable experience collaborating with other musicians through accompanying many instrumentalists and singers in their lessons, performance classes, in college auditions, masterclasses, and recitals.
My accompaniment journey at college culminated in my winning the RNCM Helen Porthouse Paganini Prize with violinist Oliver Baily, which led to a recital at the Northern Aldborough Festival. Another notable performance as an accompanist was an invitation for me to accompany Elizabeth Tocknell, former BBC Young Musician Brass Finalist, at the 2018 Church Stretton Arts Festival in Shropshire.
As a specialist pianist at the Wells Cathedral School (2007-2012), I was also selected to represent the school on two tours to Hong Kong, performing as a soloist and an accompanist. The venues I performed at included the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts, the Hong Kong Institute of Education, The Peninsular Hotel, and the Foreign Correspondents Club.
