Native of Ukraine, Liliia started studying piano at age 6. She attended Kherson Music School for the next 8 years and graduated summa cum laude from KMS in 2003. Upon completing music school studies, Liliia entered Kherson Music College where she studied for the next four years. She graduated summa cum laude from KMC in 2007 with the young specialist degree in piano performance. During her studies in Ukraine, Liliia was an active participant and winner in numerous regional and national festivals and competitions.
Liliia came to United States in 2008 to pursue her Bachelor of Music degree at Southeastern Louisiana University in Dr. Kenneth Boultons studio. While at SLU, she was active as soloist, accompanist and piano teacher. Liliia also was active collaborator with section leaders of SLU Chamber orchestra and Wind Symphony. She also served as a rehearsal pianist for opera and musical productions in the Northshore and Hammond area. Liliia was First Prize winner of the 2011 MTNA State Piano Competition (Baton Rouge, LA), and was also awarded Second/Alternate Place in 2012 MTNA Regional Piano competition held in Austin, TX. She graduated cum laude from SLU in December of 2012.
During her Bachelor studies, Liliia took two years of lessons in organ performance under the supervision of Mrs.Cheryl Brothers. Upon the completion of the course, Liliia served as organist in three local churches, providing service music and solo performances for numerous occasions.
In the Fall of 2013, Liliia started her graduate studies under the direction of Dr. Robin Williams at the University of New Orleans. She continues to pursue her Masters of Music degree, and enjoys teaching and performing as both soloist and accompanist in various concerts and festivals.
