I am a piano accompanist/musical director/writer/arranger and have been for the last 30 years. I love the art of accompaniment. It's not just playing behind a singer or instrumentalist, its breathing with the vocalist or the performer. I was trained by a piano accompanist who was one of the rehearsal piano players for the Metropolitan Opera singers. He showed me how to make the piano sound like a full orchestra. I love music and I especially accompanying vocalists.
