I have 15 years of experience working in Churches (both accompanying and choral direction), municipal choirs, musical theater, private teaching, chamber music (playing for both students and professionals) and ballet accompaniment. My education: a BA in Music from UC Berkeley, Master's degrees in Piano and Musicology from CSULB, and I am currently completing a Ph.D. in Historical Musicology through UC Santa Barbara.

I am an active member of the Music Teacher's Association of California, and have served as Vice President and President of my local branch (Long Beach). My focus here is on programming, especially reaching out to various experts and master teachers to offer masterclasses and lectures for our organization.
