Studied organ and piano at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and more recently have studied with Michael Davey and Daniel Moult.
In 2020 I was awarded the RCO Birchall Scholarship for Organ.

For the last 12 years I have worked as one of 4 official accompanists for the Birmingham Music Service and have continued to accompany for ABRSM and Trinity Exams on a yearly basis.
I now work as an accompanist within the Preston area.

Since August 2022, I have been resident organist of the Shrine Church of St Walburga in Preston, Lancashire. The Church is managed by ICKSP Canons who celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass.
I love the beauty of the TLM so much so , that I now consider myself as a true Catholic Church/Liturgical organist, and enjoy accompanying the Solemn High Masses and Vespers using the Kyriale so the majority of music is Gregorian chant.
As far as my other organ playing goes.. in order to avoid a long list..! I played the Duruflé ‘ Veni Creator Spiritus’ ( final variation) as the Recessional Voluntary for the recent Pentecost Sunday.
For the Entrance .. My own improvisation on ‘the hymn Come Holy Ghost’.
As the Canons are mainly French speaking, I tend to play much French organ music both early, and also late Romantic otherwise my repertoire consists of the usual Bach, Handel, Elgar etc.

I am an excellent sight reader and very sensitive performer and also a great support to nervous candidates no matter how young!
I have a working knowledge of all brass, woodwind and stringed instruments and, as a member of the RSCM I have much experience in directing and accompanying church choirs.

Over 20 years of accompanying and coaching musicians in preparation for ABRSM/Trinity exams and Diplomas candidates.

Fees

£ 30.00 Pounds Per Hour
I ask a the following fees:
ABRSM/ Trinity Guildhall Grades 1-5 exam accompanying:
£30.00 per hour (this includes 1 rehearsal on a day prior to the exam day) and includes accompanying for the actual exam on the day at the venue
Grades 6-8 £45.00 per hour rehearsal session prior to day of exam, but there will be an additional fee for accompanying for the actual exam, 'Performance' ( Grades 7, 8 only,) of £50 -on the day at the venue.
Accompaniment for Diplomas is £40 per hour.

Otherwise a straight fee of £30.00 for one hour's accompanying.
