I was born into a musical family with my mother working as a piano teacher and accompanist at the Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts and my father playing the trumpet.
At the age of seven, I entered the Eduardas Balsys Gymnasium of Arts graduating in 2003. Then I went on to study at the Lithuianian Academy of Music and Theatre under the tutelage of Professor J. Karnavičius, graduating with a masters degree as a piano teacher and accompanator.
I have taken part in many festivals and masterclasses both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles. I won second prize at the International Young Pianists Competition in Copenhagen in 1997 and received a diploma and a prize for the best performance of a work by a Lithuanian composer at the 2nd International Competition of Student Accompanists in 2005.
From 09/2010 till 07/2011 I was the John Wilson Junior Fellow in Accompaniment at the Royal Northern College of Music.
Being Junior Fellow I was enable to gain a lot of experience, confidence and connections of the kind, that help me to establish myself professionally. During this period I had opportunity to work as an accompanist and member of a chamber music duo in masterclasses and one-to-one lessons of such a classical music leaders like Ivri Gitlis, Gerard Poulet, Yury Torchinsky, When Zou Li, Karine Georgian, Emma Ferrand, Lynne Dawson and many more.
