Dear Hiring Manager,

my name is Cassina Marika and I'm an italian painist teacher and performer.

Awarded and certified in Italy from the “ N. Paganini”. Conservatory of High Musical Specialization of Genoa, I am a professional pianist, concert performer and piano teacher. Settled on the French Riviera for several years, I’m devoted to music teaching and prestations as soloist and as well as accompanist for lyric singers, ballet school and orchestras.

I'm perfectly bilingual italian-french but I can speak english and a little german and I'm a self-motivated person willing to take initiative, I'm trusted and I work relatively indipendently.

With more than 25 years of experience in classical piano tutoring, I insist in providing my students a high-quality education supported by complete learning supports.
My classes programs so combine both instrumental theory and lessons of music history.
This method positively contributes in the enrichment of each formation I give to my multiples levels learners. I myself had the chance to be trained and formed by great professors and pianists: G. Vercillo, M. Zana, A. Ferraris, S. Pautrè.

My teaching career has also been filled with many concert performances including “ambiance” music for Hotels ( Holiday Inn Hotel Nice Airport, Westminster Hotel, Negresco Hotel and Boscolo Exedra Hotel); french dinner prestations, movie soundtrack recording and theatrical plays side playing (Cannes, Alessandria), are some of the frequent professional activities I have accumulated so far.

I played also as pianist accompanist for the ballet school 'Rosella Hightower' in Mougin/Cannes; as teacher and accompanist at 'Beatrice Fonzes' Ballet School and in London for the E.N.B.S. during a Masterclass run by J.P. Cabardos.

I can keep a flowing conversation and add sparkle ambience to any special occasion.
I'm glad to play any request of music people would like to listen to or I can choose with customers which music would be best for a specific event.
