Matthew is a pianist based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, where he currently teaches and performs in the Tri-Cities and Guelph. Matthew recently completed his Masters in Piano Performance at Syracuse University, where he had a full scholarship and TA. Prior to that, he graduated with a Bachelor in Music summa cum laude from McMaster University. Additionally, he holds an Associate Diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

Throughout his diverse musical career, Matthew has collaborated with many singers and instrumentalists, covering much of the standard opera, instrumental, and chamber repertoire. While Matthew has collaborated with performers at all stages of their musical development, he enjoys working with students in a collaborative setting for music festivals, exams, auditions, etc.
