Hello! My name is Mckenzie, and I am a piano teacher, accompanist, English tutor, and writer/editor.

I have a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Music, and I have played piano for over 10 years. I have extensive experience in accompaniment, from solo to ensemble repertoire. Performance highlights include the celeste part to Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet with the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony; cello-and-piano sonatas by Beethoven, Prokofiev, and Shostakovich; the piano part to the orchestral-choral piece “One More Minute” by Hollywood music composer Joseph DeBeasi; and my senior recital performance of Liszt’s Sonata in B Minor.

I have also worked with violists, violinists, trombonists, and vocalists, and I enjoy working with musicians of all ages.

Fees

$ 50.00 Dollars Per Hour
Compensation per hour of rehearsal varies on a sliding scale of $40 - $70 based on skill level and transit. The performance fee is fixed and decided separately based on transit, time, etc.
