Studied at Royal College of Music Junior Department from the age of 9.
Studied piano with Peter Wallfisch whilst at University of East Anglia, Norwich and at Goldsmiths London studying for B.A.Hons in Music and PGTC in secondary Music Teaching.
Taught music in Conisbrough, Doncaster, and was Head of Music in Looe, Halifax, Farnborough, Shifnal and Bideford.
Acted as accompanist and piano teacher throughout those years.
Currently director of Northam Choral Society Bideford and accompanist to Barnstaple Male Voice Choir.
