Michael trained as a répétiteur at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as part of a 2-year full-time conducting post-graduate course. HIs tutors were Anthony Negus and Gareth Jones, both full-time music staff members of Welsh National Opera.

An excellent sight-reader, Michael accompanies opera and oratorio singers in coaching/lessons, auditions and concerts.

I have also worked as repetiteur/rehearsal pianist for Surrey Opera and for AIMS Summer school.

Michael's particular expertise is Musical Theatre, in which discipline he has over 600 hours' experience at the Guildford School of Acting alone over the past 5 years.
