Nathan Gulla earned his Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from Ithaca College in 2009 and his Master of Music Degree in Piano Performance at the University of Maryland, College Park in 2013. In addition to his piano studies, he also studied Composition extensively and continues to write new music. Nathan gained collaborative experience by participating in multiple ensembles during his time in Ithaca and Maryland, including the Wind Ensemble, the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, Piano Chamber Ensembles, Chorus, Gamer Symphony Orchestra, and as an accompanist for several vocal and instrumental performances.

Nathan has been involved in performances at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, PA, the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC, Glinka Hall and Peter and Paul Cathedral in St. Petersburg, Russia, Ghent and Bruges, Belgium, and other notable venues. Nathan has also collaborated with media composer, David Arkenstone for the Maryland Gamer Symphony, and put together an arrangement of his work from World of Warcraft which was performed in the Spring of 2013.

Currently, he is employed at St. Paul’s UCC in Sellersville, PA as a pianist and organist. He also teaches piano lessons at the Community Conservatory in Doylestown, PA and with the Bow and Hammer Music Studio in Perkasie, PA. Having received his Masters, Nathan plans to continue his piano studies as a soloist, collaborator, and teacher. He also wants to compose for various media outlets.
