I am a classically and jazz trained pianist living in St Paul, MN. I received my Bachelor of Music Degree in Theory/Composition from Concordia College-Moorhead in 2010. I studied classical and jazz piano while in school and accompanied about 20 juries and 5 recitals a semester. I have accompanied many vocalists, choirs, instrumentalists and also jazz juries. I know almost all of the low brass, bassoon, and double bass repertoire in addition to countless other pieces for other instruments and voices. I am a very good and experienced sight reader in all styles of music.

Other classical qualifications includes my performance of the first movement of Benjamin Britten's Piano Concerto, Op. 13 with the Concordia Orchestra in 2010. I also have had jazz piano trios and stay active in the jazz scene. From 2010-2013, I worked on Holland America Line cruise ships as a pianist/keyboardists and backed up over 70 different guest entertainers, over 30 production shows, countless ballroom dance sets, and top 40 sets at night. For every guest entertainer and production show, we got the music a few hours before, then had one 60-minute rehearsal followed by two shows.
The last 3 years I accompanied all around Denver, including the Colorado Choir, D'Evelyn Junior/Senior High Choirs and a violin/viola studio of 40 students. I moved to St Paul in May 2016 to be closer to family.

Last of all, I am a very good listener and follower and always know my place as an accompanist. I have gotten many comments how I am playing with the soloist, instead of just accompanying.
