As a pianist, I have had the privilege to perform at many great venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Leicester Square Theatre and The Pheasantry in London's King's Road.

I have extensive experience (35 years) as an accompanist at all levels from beginners to advanced, especially for music exams, festivals, rehearsals and concerts.

I am a full member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.

I have a Masters degree in music from the University of Sheffield, plus FTCL, ALCM and GLCM diplomas. I also have a PGCE from University of London Goldsmiths College.

I am currently researching the operas of Benjamin Britten for a PhD at the University of Nottingham.

I also have a wide experience of music education, and was a Head of Music in a high school for 15 years. I've worked on high profile educational projects with the late British composer David Bedford, the English Sinfonia, the London Symphony Orchestra and the University of Westminster.

Currently I am especially active in the field of musical theatre, being Director of New Musicals Network, and a Trustee of The Stephen Sondheim Society, where I am responsible for producing their series of young artists' cabarets and organising their biennial Summer School at the Royal Academy of Music.
