I am 54 years of age. I lived with my grandparents from the time i was a baby until I was 12 years of age. There was an upright piano at my grandmothers. It belonged to my aunt, but my grandparents said that when I was 2, I sat on the piano bench and began to play songs that I heard. I started playing for churches at age 5. I played the piano, my grandmother played the organ. During service, we would switch. I would go to the organ, and my grandmother would go to the piano. My grandmother got killed in a car accident in front of the house while I was at school. That was really hard. I started playing the piano for the church. I knew that's what she had wanted. I continued playing there until my grandfather had a stroke when I was in the 6th grade. I moved with an aunt and uncle. It was only for a few months, then I went to live with another aunt and uncle. I was able to play the piano for sunday school classes, as well as church services occassionally. Then I moved to lubbock in 1974 and would play the piano for the church I attended there. Then I played for a gospel group. I started dating the guitar player. We went to a church where his brother was the pastor/ and evangelist. I would play for him during service on sunday's and then on revivals when he traveled. I really loved that. Then I had played for a church in houston texas then now i am playing the keyboard for Living Word World Outreach in Conroe Texas. I love it there so much. I was helping out at a recording studio, as well.

Fees

$ 25.00 Dollars Per Hour
When I play for weddings, and funerals, I usally just take love offerings or whatever they desire to pay me. When I give piano lessons, I charge $25.00 for one hour.
