Robert Wendt completed his Master's degree in Music Education at Hunter College and his Bachelor's degree in English Literature at Columbia University. He has studied piano with Julie Jordan and Geoffrey Burleson and has performed classical piano repertoire at Carnegie's Weill Recital Hall, Juilliard's Morse Hall, the Steinway Showroom and Lang Hall at Hunter College. Mr. Wendt has enjoyed working as a collaborative pianist with vocalists as well as chamber musicians on works by Brahms, Prokofiev, Bartok, Vaughan Williams, and Messiaen. Mr. Wendt is accompanist for the Hunter College evening choir, for which he has prepared such pieces as Mozart's Mass in C Minor, Verdi's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana and Handels Israel in Egypt for performance. He has composed settings of modern poetry and works for orchestra and solo piano.
