I am now 67 year 0f age. i had been playing piano since the 60s. i used to play in night clubs and hotels here in the Philippines. Modesty aside during those years if ever you play by professions you need to be good because there are lots of Filipinos until who are talented in playing musical instruments but the establishment up to now that hire musician are very few therefore you are lucky enough if you have a job at those times. Most of the time I played alone as a performer or with two singers. there are times i plated with the band. we used to p0lay in hotels also and abroad. we have played in luxury liner name SS. Cathay Based in Australia. we are three in the group ,one base guitar and drum . I play the piano and organ.

When we went back after few years of contract i decided to teach piano lessons by ear (oido) and most of my clients were elders because i am able to teach them play the key board within the span of 3 months only according to their choice and style of music and songs they
like to play. And until now most of my pupils are working professionally as pianist in different places here and abroad., and i am honored for that.

Fees

My fee is not much as long it could sustain our daily needs me and my wife only. the most important part is that I could play again in other places meet people and share ideas since as an elder i need to talk to different people and see other places to serve as my consolation. And at the same maybe if lucky I could still teach there to those who are inclind to play music but old enough to start a formal lesson.
