Rosa is an experienced accompanist with twenty years of experience playing the piano in a wide variety of settings. Rosa is comfortable playing a wide variety of musical styles and used to working in the fast-paced settings of music rehearsals and all the skills they require. Rosa is used to accompanying instrumentalists and vocalists, and she is at ease with any genre of music, from classical to jazz to pop. She enjoys improvising and can sightread at ease.

Rosa was classically trained on the piano from a young age, achieving Grade 8 distinction and earning an ATCL piano performance diploma by the age of 18. She gained a first class hons in BA Music and English from the University of Leeds in 2016, where she specialised in classical piano performance, culminating her degree in a recital that focused on 20th and 21st Century piano music by the likes of Debussy, Lachenmann and Davidovksy. In 2022 Rosa graduated from SOAS University of London with a merit, where she undertook an MA in Music in Development, finishing her studies with a specialist focus on Cuban piano, exploring new musical pathways on the instrument.

Rosa now works as a professional musician and piano teacher. She regularly plays gigs on the piano, keyboard, synthesiser, marimba, vibraphone and bass, and plays music from a wide variety of styles and genres, including classical, jazz, Latin, pop and experimental. She also teaches piano students of all ages and abilities and is used to engaging with clients and students in a professional manner.
