I started playing the piano when I was 3 years old and started taking lessons when I was 5 years old. I accompanied instrumentals, solos, and choirs for competitions when I was in high-school. I also played for our church congregation and choir. I majored in Piano Pedagogy and finished 2 full years of classes. I accompanied voice recitals and instrumental recitals. I also traveled with a singing college group, as an accompanist, for about 2 years.

After I got married, I traveled with a singing quartet, as their accompanist, for 2 years.

I can sight read, play some things by ear, and really enjoy accompanying. I am very comfortable with hymns and church music as well.
