I graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Music, in 1999. I majored in Singing, but also completed studies in Keyboard Accompaniment, as well as regularly accompanying fellow singers and instrumentalists in Vocal Masterclass and Concert Class.
I took piano lessons all through high school with Darryl Coote, a member of celebrated Melbourne pedagogical group, the Team of Pianists, and also completed eighteen months' study in the Art of Orchestral Conducting with Russian maestro, Vladimir Vais. At the conclusion of my conducting studies, I fulfilled the role of Musical Director for P.L.O.S.'s 2001 October production of 'Oliver!', in acknowledgement of which I received a special Judge's Award from the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria.
I have completed the composition of a large, three-act romantic opera on the life of Tchaikovsky, which I one day hope to conduct!
I have taught singing, freelance, in the past, and am thus an extremely sensitive vocal accompanist.
I would love to play for exams, auditions, rehearsals, and special occasions such as weddings, and the like.
