I have served as a piano accompanist for over 35 years in various places, including Salt Lake City, UT and the Portland, OR area. I am an excellent sight reader and have had much experience accompanying choral groups, vocal soloists, and instrumentalists. I was the accompanist for a semi-professional choral group of 40 voices for about 12 years. My musical background includes a BA degree in piano performance from Brigham Young University, and I have had experience playing classical music, opera, and musical theater. My background also includes playing continuo harpsichord and organ with small orchestra for major Bach choral works. I coached middle school/high school students for a summer community musical theater production and have also coached high school instrumentalists for various solo festival events. I currently teach private piano in my studio and have been teaching for over 25 years. I am married, with three grown children and one grandson.
