Based in Portland, Oregon, I have been accompanying since I was in grade school, beginning with school choirs and soloists, both vocal and instrumental. I later worked with several university performance majors to practice and perform in recitals and competitions. I have also performed solo, both piano and violin, for most of my life. As an accompanist, my strengths are the abilities to sightread virtually any piece of music, follow even the most challenging performing, and learn music very quickly. That all means more time for the performer to spend polishing their part rather than bringing me up to speed. I also bring a very congenial, easy nature to my work.
