Sherry VanOveren received her Master of Music degrees in piano performance and pedagogy from Michigan State University. She also studied piano performance on scholarship at the Mozarteum music school in Salzburg, Austria.

Sherry has taught piano at Michigan State University, Spring Arbor College, Lansing Community College and Calvin College. She has accompanied choirs, vocal and instrumental soloists for over 40 years at the university and professional levels. She is currently organist, pianist, accompanist and Music Worship Coordinator at Ada Congregational Church and is accompanist for the Trumpet Studio at Grand Valley State University.

Fees

$ 50.00 Dollars Per Hour
Sherry VanOveren's accompanying base fee is $50 per hour with a minimum charge of an hour. Once the music is received, level of difficulty and length of piece is evaluated. If the piece is very lengthy (over 5 pages) or will require extended practice time, an additional amount will be charged. This will be determined on a per situation basis. After the $50 minimum and length/difficulty adjustment fee, additional rehearsal time is charged at $12.50 per fifteen minute increments or portion thereof.
If rehearsals are NOT at my home studio, an additional $15 travel fee will be charged for locations within the Grand Rapids area.
