Siyao Wang is from Shenyang, China, and started playing the piano since she was four. Wang has won many prizes including the First Prize of the Yamaha Competition in 2010, the First Prize in the piano ensemble of the “Music Teacher National Association” 2012, and she was named the Best performer of a Romantic work at the Young Artist Solo Category of 2014 St. Andrew’s International Piano Competition in Canada. After she pursuing her undergraduate degree as a piano performance major at East Tennessee State University with full scholarship, she earned the Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at Boston University.
