I am an experienced accompanist in classical, jazz, gospel, musical theatre, etc. as well as collaborative (chamber) ensembles. I mostly specialize in vocal accompanying, but also have done a large amount of instrumental accompanying as well.

My greatest assets are my sight-reading skills and ability to collaborate musically with every artist I accompany. I provide the support and confidence necessary for any soloist to perform their best.

For about five years, I accompanied students and faculty full-time at Appalachian State University (Boone, NC), and also have accompanied students and faculty at Emory & Henry College (Emory, VA).

I have a B.Mus in classical piano performance from Cairn University (Langhorne, PA--graduated 1992) and did some work toward a Masters in Piano Performance at Appalachian State University.

I formerly was the Resident Musical Director at Barter Theatre (Abingdon, VA), but now travel the US in a motorhome with my family, available for free-lance work wherever I'm needed!

Fees

Fees are negotiable. Rehearsal/lesson fees usually are in the range of $35/hr and performance fees usually run $100-200 per performance. Dinner music is $150 for the first hour (or portion) and $50/hr for each additional hour.
