I am writing to introduce myself and to offer my services as an accompanist. I am aware that within the music service accompanists are often required. I have had a wealth of experience as an accompanist within the Salvation Army, accompanying a variety of distinguished soloists as well as holding down the position of choir accompanist. I have also had a great deal of experience accompanying students taking external exams as well as accompanying students for GCSE and A level practicals. I am aware off the importance of providing a secure and sympathetic support to the soloist or ensemble. I believe that my skills in this area would benefit your department/organisation.
