Very diverse pianist with experience in many areas. Received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies from Florida Atlantic University in 2011, having changed my major from Piano Performance. During that time, I performed frequently in both jazz settings and as an accompanist for instrumental exams. In May 2015, I received a Master of Music degree in composition, also from FAU. Though I was studying composition, as a graduate assistant I was called upon to accompany instrumental students and to play in the jazz band. I was known at FAU for my sight-reading skills, and was frequently asked to play pieces in unconventional or modern styles because of this ability. I have performed as an accompanist with the following instruments: Voice, Violin, Viola, Double Bass, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Alto Saxophone, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, as well as with large ensembles.
In addition, I have performed popular and Religious music when it is called for, sometimes transcribing the songs myself to obtain the most authentic sound.
I am also the organist at First Presbyterian Church in West Palm Beach, accompanying hymns and performing solo and ensemble music every Sunday.
