Pianist Tiffany Leu began her musical education with Dr. Chen Ru Ning in Taiwan at the age of seven and continued her studies with Yuko Kamimoto in Singapore. She made her first debut playing Mozart Rondo in D major KV382 with the Taipei Century Symphony Orchestra at Novel Hall for the Performing Arts in Taiwan at the age of 15, and has since appeared in recitals as soloist and collaborative pianist in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Italy and the United States.
Various concert halls in which Tiffany has performed at include the Magnificant Concert Hall (Kuala Lumpur), the University Culture Center Hall (Singapore), the Novel Hall (Taiwan), as well as the Greenwich House and the Provincetown Playhouse and Frederick Loewe Theatre in New York. Her performance experience also extended to festivals such as the annual Cultural Convention, the Cultural Collage and the Singapore Music Festival. She was also awarded the finalist in the Trinity Guildhall Competition in 2008 and finalist of the 5th Annual Chopin Competition in Barnard Columbia in 2012.
Tiffany graduated from New York University with a Bachelor degree (with Honors) in Piano Performance under Artist faculty Deirdre O’Donohue. During her course of study, she has been featured in “Steinhardt at Saklad”, “Music with a Vue” and the “Honors Concert” series. At NYU, she was the appointed accompanist for the NYU Symphony Orchestra audition for woodwinds and strings. As a soloist, she has also attended masterclasses with acclaimed pianists such as Jennifer Hayghe, Amy Gustafson, Humbert Lucarelli, Fabio Gardenal, Carlo Guaitoli, Matt Sullivan, Dr. Jose Mendez, and Eduardus Halim – the last pupil of Vladimir Horowitz.
Since moving back to Singapore in 2013, Tiffany has been actively performing, accompanying and teaching privately. She is the adjudicator for the IASAS Music Festival – piano and vocal audition in 2013 and 2014.
