Walter McCoy has performed internationally as a Soloist, Chamber Musician, Accompanist, and Locally as a Music Director/Conductor. He serves as an accompanist for several area schools Choral Departments in the Fairfax area: Kilmer Middle school, Cooper Middle school, and Marshall High school. Recent Music Direction credits include: "Legally Blonde", "RENT", and "Altar Boyz" for 1st Stage in Tyson's Corner . He has also played in numerous pit orchestras and has accompanied all different types of soloist, and choirs. Recent performances include: "Company", "Oliver", and "Hairspray" at The Little Theatre of Alexandria; and "The Full Monty" at The Keegan Theatre.

I am an ideal resource for your next collaborative project, whether you are planning a performance of classical or musical theatre repertoire, making an audition recording, or simply need an accompanist for your lessons and juries. I combine strong pianistic abilities with musical sensitivity, adapting easily to my partners' musical and technical needs.
