Yi Han is a Singapore-based Pianist and Violinist. As a pianist, violinist and celesta player of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) for 7 years, she has served as Concert-Master and has represented Singapore at the Grand Finale of the Asia-Pacific Youth Symphony Orchestra Festival held in Hong Kong. As a pianist and celesta player of the SNYO, she has performed major orchestral works such as Holst’s The Planets, Bartok’s dance suite and Tchaikovsky’s Concert Fantasia. She has won multiple prizes at competitions such as the First Prize in the Nanyang International Music Competition, the Platinum Award at the Singapore Performers’ Festival and the Gold Award in the Chamber Category of the Singapore Raffles International Music Competition. She has also been awarded the ABRSM High Scorer Award twice for both Piano and Violin, and was subsequently invited to perform in Kuala Lumpur. She holds Certificates of Distinction for both her Piano and Violin LTCL Diplomas.
