Yu-Fen is a Taiwanese pianist who completed her Masters degree at Birmingham Conservatoire with Distinction in 2011. Since then she has been continuing her piano studies at the Conservatoire, having been awarded a scholarship to study on the Advanced Postgraduate Diploma Professional Performance course with Prof. Malcolm Wilson, Margaret Fingerhut and Katya Apekisheva. While in Birmingham she has participated in masterclasses with many leading pianists, including Patsy Toh, Peter Donohoe, Martin Jones, Steven Osborne, William Fong, Roy Howat, Andrei Gavrilov, Anthony Hewitt and William Howard. Her locally public appearances have included the solo performance at the Birmingham Symphony Hall in December 2012 and Birmingham Town Hall in June 2013, where she played Bitten Piano Concerto for the composer's 100th anniversary with Birmingham Conservatoire Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lionel Friend. Her piano trio has recently won the Leamington Music Prize in 2013, and gave a concert in Leamington Spa Concert Hall. This summer, she just graduated from Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary, having been awarded a full scholarship from the Weingarten Trust. She is currently living in London.

She has vast experiences in piano performance as a soloist and accompanist. She played plenty of chamber music, including piano duo, trio, quartet and quintet, so she is capable to play with all kind of instruments and very good in sight-reading. The repertoire she learned include all kind of music from Baroque to contemporary period.

She is a really patient and passionate person, who will be responsible and always do her best for everything. All auditions, exams, recitals, rehearsals, are welcome to contact her to get the best arrangement.
