Thank you for visiting my accompanist profile! I have enjoyed being a collaborative pianist/piano accompanist for 20 years. I am also a professionally trained choral conductor and a singer (baritone). Educated in a multi-layered European conservatory system, I also hold a Master's degree from the University of Washington on a Fulbright scholarship. My piano experience includes accompanying choirs, singers, instrumentalists, productions of musicals and operas as well as playing in a professional symphony orchestra. Performing and teaching in collaborative artistic environment has been crucial in my approach to piano accompanying with a clear understanding of what it means to be and what is expected of a truly collaborative pianist. I'm equally at home performing various styles of music - from classical literature to Broadway and popular music.
My recent piano accompanying credits include such established choirs as Seattle Pro Musica, Choral Arts Northwest, Seattle Choral Company, and Bainbridge Chorale; the orchestra at Bellevue City Opera Ballet; theater companies Spotlight Repertory NW and The Core Ensemble (Cornish College); University Unitarian Church and St. Clement's Episcopal Church. I collaborate extensively with both opera/ classical singers and musical theater/popular music performers. I'm a staff accompanist at the Shoreline Community College Music Department and Redmond Chorale.
I maintain residence in North Seattle and look forward to making music with both professional and amateur musicians from all over the Greater Seattle area. Strong sight reading skills enable me to be flexible and make last minute offers or changes in rehearsal plans enjoyable.
