The Hungarian pianist Zsuzsanna Lukacs graduated from the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music in Cluj- Napoca, obtained a Ier Prix de Virtuosite at the Lausanne Conservatory, Switzerland and a Master's Degree in Piano Performance at UBC. She studied chamber music at the European Mozart Academy in Poland and attended several courses and masterclasses in Europe and Canada.
Zsuzsanna has collaborated with the Vancouver Opera, Opera Breve, Opera Appassionata, Opera Pro Cantanti , the Okanagan Vocal Arts Festival, UBC Opera Ensemble, UBC Choral Union, Les Echos du Pacifique Choir and High Spirits Choir. Zsuzsanna has performed several times at the Vancouver Chutzpah Festival, with actress Naava Piatka, with soprano Kyra Folk-Farber and with violinist Zina Schiff, with Zina performing in several more recitals in Canada and the U.S. Zsuzsanna was broadcast three times on CBC Radio 2, with the artists of the Okanagan Vocal Arts Festival, with the Borealis String Quartet and the Christ Church Cathedral Choir premiering the work of Bruce Ruddell “Vigil” and with singers Paul Moore and Melina Schein performing at the Mozart Anniversary concerts.
