Accompanist and piano teacher Yu-fen Chou got her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Accompanying from the Catholic University of America in 2010. During the years in CUA, she studied with Ms. Marilyn Neeley, Dr. Ivo Kaltchev and Dr. Nikita Fitenko. She also studied opera coaching with Dr. Katerina Souvorova. During the five years in CUA, she was active as an accompanist and chamber music player both inside and outside CUA. She also teaches piano to students of all ages and levels. Yu-fen earned her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from Stephen F. Austin State University; she studied with Dr. Andrew Parr in SFASU.
